Warsaw Apartment Fire Results In Over $210K In Damages

WARSAW — An apartment fire at Lakeland Villa Apartments, 332 Chamberlin Drive, Warsaw, resulted in over $210,000 in damages to property and contents within the apartments.
According to Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory Public Information Officer Max Kinsey, the fire on Sunday, Feb. 26, was dispatched at 5:05 p.m., with personnel arriving on scene at 5:08 p.m. Smoke could be seen from the street, with flames visible from the building’s back side.
The fire was reported under control at 5:31 p.m., and firefighters stayed on scene until 7:41 p.m.
No injuries were reported, and the fire’s cause is being investigated at this time.
Responding agencies include Winona Lake Fire Department, Plain Township Fire Department, Lutheran EMS, Warsaw Police Department, and the American Red Cross.
