Goshen College Communication Department Presents: “Goshen: A Sundown Town’s Transformation”
Stop in at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, at Goshen Theater in the Miller Auditorium, as the Goshen College Film Production program presents the premiere of their documentary ‘Goshen – A Sundown Town’s Transformation’. ‘Goshen – A Sundown Town’s Transformation’ explores Goshen’s past as a racially exclusionary Sundown Town and how the community is finding ways to acknowledge this history and move forward. There have been thousands of such communities in the U.S., but Goshen is among the first to make a bipartisan declaration regarding “a past to stand against.”
Downtown Goshen Volunteer
Stop in from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, at Goshen Theater to learn about some fun upcoming volunteer opportunities from your local downtown nonprofits.
Volunteerism is one of the best ways to give back to your community. Your time is just as valuable as a financial donation in helping to support your local nonprofits.
Have a drink and some snacks, and speak with folks from different downtown nonprofits about ways you can get involved.
