Richard Wayne Jones, 75, rural Claypool (and formerly of Beaver Dam Lake), passed Sunday, Feb. 26, 2023, at his residence.

He was born on Dec. 6, 1947, in Marion.

He is survived by his sons: Heath (Janell) Jones, Mentone; and Benjamin (fiancée Fawn) Jones, Warsaw; four grandchildren; sisters: Janetta Blakely, Marion; and Diana (Bill) McBride, Bluffton; and a brother: Phil (Pam) Jones, Florida.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents.

King Memorial Home, Mentone, is handling arrangements.
