WARSAW — The Warsaw Community Public Library is offering several new and unique opportunities for the community in the month of March.
At 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 18, WCPL will be presenting the one-act play, “The Literati Awards.” This production will be performed by area homeschool students and will last around 30 minutes. The play is about which literary character will win the award for Best Literary Character of All Time, and the audience gets to vote. There are well-known characters like Romeo and Juliet, Gollum, Sherlock Holmes and more. This is an opportunity to give area homeschool students a chance to shine.
At 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 27, WCPL is hosting two groups from the Classic Arts Program here in Warsaw. The Youth Chorale, directed by Dr. Judie Meulink, will demonstrate their warm-up process and will share a few songs. The Jazz Vocal Ensemble, directed by Dr. Ardis Faber, will be showcasing their skills with a selection of songs. The program will last approximately 45 minutes and is open to the public.
Each month, WCPL hosts a variety of programs for all ages. Visit the events calendar at warsawlibrary.org for dates and times to all their events.
