Larry J. Staton Sr., 79, Kimmell, died at 10:15 a.m. Monday, Feb. 20, 2023, at home in Kimmell.

He was born June 16, 1943.

He married Pamela Ice on Nov. 23, 1973.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Pamela Staton, Kimmell; seven children, Larry (Sun) Staton Jr., Cromwell, Lisa (Tom) Butler, Goshen, Penny (Lowell) Klett, Middlebury, Kim (Sherri) Walker, Jeffrey (Bryan) Ice, New Mexico, Theresa (Kevin) Williams, Goshen and Andrew (Barb) Staton, Osceola; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, James (Pauline) Staton Jr., Ligonier and Dan (Julie) Staton, Goshen.

Yeager Funeral Home, Ligonier, is assisting the family with arrangements.
