Michael Miller
Mike Miller, 49, Claypool, longtime resident of the North Webster and Syracuse areas, died unexpectedly Feb. 16, 2023.
Born Nov. 27, 1973, in Fort Wayne, Michael Miller II or “Mike,” as most knew him, was the son of Michael Miller and Janet (McKenzie) Doerscher. He was a graduate of Warsaw Community High School and spent most of his adult life in Kosciusko County.
Professionally, Mike was in the construction trades. He worked in tree trimming and tree removal, home renovation and pier installation. He was quite handy and could fix almost anything. He was smart and had a sarcastic but good sense of humor. He liked music of all kinds and time spent on the lake.
A selfless person who was always willing to help others, Mike is survived by four daughters, Kaylen Miller (fiance, Aaron Case), Warsaw, Amaya Miller, Indianapolis, Sandra Miller and Tonya Miller, both of Sturgis, Mich.; mother, Janet Doescher, Huntington; and father, Michael Miller, Bluffton. He is also survived by brothers, James and John Miller; and grandchildren, Addison and Octavia Case. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a brother, Joe Miller.
Titus Funeral Home is entrusted with care of the Miller family. Services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2023, at the Warsaw location, 2000 Sheridan St. Visitation will take place for two hours prior.
