Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

• 12:57 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 200 block of West Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Driver: Richard A. Latta, 79, South Maple Avenue, Warsaw. Latta struck an unoccupied vehicle while attempting to pull out of a parking lot. Damage up to $5,000.

Elkhart County

Officers with the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:

• 3:48 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, US 6, west of East County Line Road, Elkhart. Driver: Brian Rich, 62, Cromwell. Rich’s vehicle left the south side of the roadway and collided with a tree. Rich was transported to Parkview Hospital for his injuries.

Syracuse

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:

• 12 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, West Conrad Street, east of North Mill Street, Syracuse. Driver: Austin J. O’Connell, 26, Hasty Street, Huntington. O’Connell struck a low-hanging branch that was over the roadway. Damage up to $2,500.
