WINONA LAKE — What happens to Indiana’s wildlife when it’s cold and snowy outside? Tracks in the snow are probably your best clue that critters are alive and well. Join the Lilly Center from 9:30-11 a.m. this Saturday, Jan. 28, at 806 Connection Circle, Winona Lake, for Critter Encounter: Winter Edition.
Families will have the chance to tour the fish room, gather ’round for a critter story, make a craft and enjoy an ice treat.
Snacks are provided so reserve your spot for this free event today. Registration is available here.
Helping the next generation understand how important their lakes are is key to their lakes’ longevity. The community’s actions today have an impact on the future of Kosciusko County’s waterways.
In addition to Critter Encounter, The Lilly Center is partnering with Kosciusko Soil & Water and KC Recycling Depot to bring you four more events this spring. These include a modern gardening workshop, a women in agriculture event and more. Each event is free to attend. Simply sign up so The Lilly Center can have enough supplies for you.
