Brandon L. Hepler, 52, Bourbon, died Monday, Jan. 23, 2023, in his home in Bourbon.
Brandon was born to Devon and Lucinda (Gard) Hepler on March 12, 1970, in Elkhart. He was a lifelong resident of the area except for the 18 years he resided in Ann Arbor, Mich., with his wife and children. He graduated from Triton High School in 1988 and went on to attain a Bachelor of Science in business management from Manchester University in 1992. He attended Nappanee Missionary Church. He was a manager of Love’s Truck Stop, in both Plymouth and Elkhart. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, motorcycles (especially Harley Davidsons), music and sports; he was an avid Notre Dame and Michigan fan. However, he loved being a grandpa and spending time with his family most of all.
Brandon is survived by his father, Devon Hepler, Bourbon; his daughter, Alexis (Jerod) Grimes, Mishawaka; his sons, Cody (Maisie) Hepler, Fort Wayne and Logan Hepler, Bourbon; his grandchildren, Ella Banks, Beckham Hepler and Ivy Hepler; his sisters, Katie (Austin) Sellers, Bourbon and Holly (Ryan) Clevenger, Rochester; his brother, Jeremy (Laura) Hepler; and his grandmother, Beverly Kiester, Bourbon.
Brandon is preceded in death by his mother, Lucinda Hepler (Jan. 28, 1989); his stepmother, Dawn Hepler (Aug. 5, 2020); his wife, Jeniffer Hepler (June 15, 2018); his paternal grandparents, Wilma and Harvey Hepler; and his maternal grandfather, Robert Fear.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023, at The Country Church, 2951 9B Road, Bourbon.
A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at The Country Church, 2951 9B Road, Bourbon, with Pastor David Stackhouse and Pastor Aaron Talbert presiding.
Burial will follow in Sandridge Cemetery, Bourbon.
