WARSAW — A Winter Storm Watch for Kosciusko County has been changed to a Winter Weather Advisory.
According to the National Weather Service of Northern Indiana, the advisory is in effect from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25. Total snow accumulations of around 4 to 6 inches are expected.
Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will likely impact the morning or evening commute. Snow will spread rapidly north early Wednesday with rapid accumulations before noon. The snow will become lighter during the afternoon, although blowing and drifting snow in open areas is likely to persist into the evening.
Elkhart, Fulton, and Marshall Counties are also under a Winter Weather Advisory.
Noble and Whitley Counties are under a Winter Storm Warning. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 8 inches are expected for northeast Indiana.
