He was born Nov. 10, 1943.

On April 19, 1970, Jim married Martha Ecklebarger.

Jim is survived by his wife of almost 53 years, Martha Sholtey, Foraker; three children, Jim Sholtey Jr., Foraker, Loretta Sholtey, Foraker and Lydia Sholtey, Goshen; a stepson, Tom (Ann) Ecklebarger, New Braunfels, Texas; a brother, Wayne (Marcia) Sholtey; and two sisters, Faye (Russell) Ivison, Coventry, England and Sally Thomas, Florida
