Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 10:24 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, East CR 225S, east of South Country Club Road, Warsaw. Driver: Andros A. Gonzalez Vega, 29, Lindenwood Avenue, Warsaw. Gonzalez Vega’s vehicle left the roadway and hit a utility pole. Damage up to $25,000.
• 9:37 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, North CR 800W, south of West CR 850N, Etna Green. Drivers: Russell E. Martin, 33, East CR 350S, Akron; and Carter M. Zimmerman, 16, South CR 675W, Warsaw. Martin was attempting to pass Zimmerman’s vehicle when a sideswipe collision occurred. Damage up to $5,000.
• 8:21 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, North CR 850E, west of East Adams Road, Pierceton. Driver: Jamie E. Bumbaugh, 24, EMS R4 Lane, Pierceton. Bumbaugh’s vehicle left the roadway and hit a tree.  Damage up to $5,000.
• 4:57 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, West Old Road 30, east of North Zimmer Road, Warsaw. Driver: unknown. A vehicle registered to Francisco J. Ramirez, Warsaw, appeared to be traveling in a roundabout when it left the roadway, hitting a road sign and light pole. The driver of the vehicle left the scene. Damage up to $10,000.
• 4:17 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, South SR 15, north of West CR 700S, Claypool. Driver: Will T. Davidson, 53, North School Avenue, Silver Lake. Davidson’s vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $10,000.
• 11:01 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, West SR 14, west of South CR 850W, Akron. Driver: Robin R. Smith, 65, East CR 575N, Leesburg. Smith’s vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
• 2:34 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, 802 N. Old SR 15, Milford. Driver: Glen E. Burkholder, 79, CR 46, New Paris. Burkholder was backing his vehicle when he hit a parked vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
• 8:17 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20, North CR 650E, south of North Barbee Road, Warsaw. Driver: Hannah L. Rogers, 36, East US 30, Pierceton. Rogers’ vehicle left the roadway and hit a tree. Rogers was pronounced dead at the scene. A witness said he saw Rogers’ vehicle traveling at a rate of speed faster than the posted speed limit. Damage up to $25,000.
• 4:43 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, North SR 19, south of West CR 600N, Etna Green. Driver: Vincent E. Redinger, 53, North Etna Street, Etna Green. Redinger’s vehicle left the roadway, hitting a utility pole and rolling onto its top. Damage up to $25,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

• 5:46 a.m. Monday, Jan. 23, South McClellan Street, near East Pope Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Kevin J. Morgan, 43, East Riviera Drive, Warsaw; and Joshua E. Schultz, 40, South Blue Spruce Road, Warsaw. Morgan rear-ended Schultz’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
• 1:55 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, US 30, near East Old Road 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Tracey L. Sleighter, 55, East Ponderosa Drive, North Webster; and Stephen Tse, 29, South Wentworth Avenue 3B., Chicago, Ill. Sleighter ran a red light at the US 30 and East Old Road 30 intersection, entering Tse’s path of travel. Tse complained of general body pain. Two passengers in Tse’s vehicle, Emily A. Allison, 25, Rockford, Ill.; and Danielle Kramer, 28, Velvedeer, Ill., also sustained injuries. Allison complained of stomach, pain, upper back, and chest pain. Kramer complained of left arm, left leg, and stomach pain. Tse, Allison, and Kramer were all taken to Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital for further medical evaluation. Damage up to $25,000.
• 9:41 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, SR 25, near East Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Mark H. Bontrager, 25, East Lincolnway, Columbia City; and Caylee C. Walls, 16, North Bobber Lane, Warsaw. Bontrager ran a red light at the North Detroit Street and East Market Street intersection, hitting Walls’ vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.
• 3:11 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, Petro Drive, west of SR 15, Warsaw. Drivers: Richard J. Ordway, 77, East Washington Street, Monterey; and Landon A. Bryan, 21, East Van Buren Street, Leesburg. Ordway was pulling his vehicle out of a parking lot when he hit Bryan’s vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.
• 3:06 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, 2501 Walton Blvd., WArsaw. Drivers: Randall Slone, 64, South Union Street, Warsaw; and Nicole L. Smith, 52, North SR 5, Larwill. Slone was attempting to turn his vehicle into a parking space when he hit Smith’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
• 11:52 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20, 486 W. 350N, Warsaw. Driver: Jonathon A. Hernandez, 26, Maye Street, Warsaw. Hernandez was backing his vehicle when he hit a parked, unoccupied vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
