Gwendoline Doris Lenz, 85, Rochester, passed away Jan. 18, 2023, at her daughter’s home with her family by her side.

She was born in Shrewsbury, England, on May 24, 1937. She married the love of her life, Bruce Lenz, on July 5, 1958.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Bruce; father: Phillip Beddoes; her mother and stepfather: Elsie and John Buttermore; siblings: Valerie Eads, Yvonne Pryce; and sister-in-law’s and brother in-law’s: Camilla and (Eugene) Rosam, Dolly Lenz, Audrey Lenz, William and (Ula) Lenz.

Gwen is survived by her children: David, Stephen (Marlene) and Teresa (Grant); and siblings: John Mullinder, John Buttermore Jr., Ronnie Buttermore, and Sandra Hozey (Big Daddy); four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and extended family members; and sister and brother-in-law: Kathleen (Fred) Gutohrel and Robert Eads.
