Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
- 9:58 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16, North Turkey Creek Road, south of East Wawasee Lane, Syracuse. Driver: unknown. A vehicle owned by Ian S. Byrd, Bloomington, appeared to have been driven off the roadway, hitting multiple trees. The driver of the vehicle was not located by officers. Damage up to $5,000.
- 6:33 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16, South SR 25, east of South CR 550W, Warsaw. Driver: David A. Jason, 53, Liberty Road, Rochester. Jason’s vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
- 5:46 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, Ranch Road, south of SR 15, Warsaw. Drivers: Ariadne L. Ursua-Romero, 20, East CR 400S, Warsaw; and Melinda G. Rogers, 55, South Packerton Road, Warsaw. Ursua-Romero’s vehicle rear-ended Rogers’. Damage up to $5,000.
- 7:17 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16, East Market Street, near SR 15, Warsaw. Drivers: Tonya M. Duguid, 47, West Catalpa Lane, Warsaw; and Mildred Dubuisson, 36, East Goodison Road, North Webster. Duguid ran a red light and hit Dubuisson’s vehicle at the East Market Street and SR 15 intersection. Damage up to $25,000.
- 3:40 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16, SR 15, south of Anchorage Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Casey D. Cover, 32, Boosewood Drive, Rochester; and Brittany E. Wise, 34, West CR 600N, Larwill. Cover was attempting to avoid hitting a vehicle that cut him off when he abruptly changed lanes and hit Wise’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
- 9:27 a.m. Monday, Jan. 16, 2000 W. Winona Ave., Warsaw. Driver: Volodymyr Senchyshyn, 43, Grand Avenue 1N., River Grove, Ill. Senchyshyn was backing his vehicle when he hit a parked vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
- 1:24 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, 1000 Husky Trail, Warsaw. Driver: unknown. A vehicle owned by Timothy A. Crutchfield, Syracuse, was parked and unoccupied when, for an unknown reason, it rolled forward and hit a parked vehicle owned by Toni M. Jones-Ellersieck, Syracuse. Damage up to $2,500.
