Ryan James Prater

WARSAW — A Warsaw man was recently arrested following a controlled drug purchase.

Ryan James Prater, 35, 653 Heritage Lane, Warsaw, is charged with dealing in a narcotic drug, a level 5 felony; and possession of a narcotic drug, a level 6 felony.

Sometime in October 2022, the NET43 Drug Task Force purchased 0.89 grams of fentanyl, a narcotic drug, from Prater. The controlled purchase was captured on digital surveillance.

Prater has prior convictions for narcotic drug and methamphetamine possession.

Prater was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Jan. 12, with a $10,250 surety and cash bond.
