Martin’s Pharmacy, located inside of Martin’s Super Market, 1150 Husky Trail, Warsaw, reported they have not experienced any issues as a result of a reported nationwide pharmacy staffing shortage.

WARSAW — With other media outlets reporting a nationwide pharmacy staffing shortage, InkFreeNews decided to see if that was the case locally.

HomeTown Pharmacy, 1775 E. Center St., Warsaw, is one of the local pharmacies that has been able to navigate a reported nationwide pharmacy staffing shortage with no issue.

Luckily, some local Warsaw pharmacies have been able to navigate the shortage without issue. Patty Johnson at HomeTown Pharmacy reported that, “no, we haven’t been affected by it at all.”

Pharmacy technicians at Martin’s Pharmacy Warsaw location stated that they have not had any issue getting and retaining staff since the peak of COVID-19.

Kroger Pharmacy, Meijer Pharmacy, Walmart Pharmacy and CVS could not be reached for comment.
