WARSAW — The Warsaw Community Public Library can create an atmosphere of warmth and quiet, but can also provide a place for educational, fun family activities and for trying new things.
Several children’s events are back again in the new year. These include Preschool Story Time and activity stations, Toddler Story Time, LEGO Club, Kids Yoga, Greyt Readers and Kids Minecraft. Check the event calendar at warsawlibrary.org for dates and times.
A special scholarship information event for Kosciusko County juniors and seniors and their parents will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9. Presenters will be from the Kosciusko County Community Foundation and Warsaw Community High School. Parents and students will be given information and an opportunity to ask questions.
At 4:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, there will be a teen Disney Trivia and Karaoke event, where teams will compete to see who is the ultimate Disney fan. Karaoke will be optional.
Tweens will make slime at Mine-Crafts For Tweens at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31. There will be a Movement and Mindfulness Yoga event for adults at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10.
All ages are welcome at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, for Beverages and Board Games. There will be games set up for all ages and a hot chocolate bar to help keep attendees warm.
Take part in the library’s book cover design contest in January. The categories will be ages 8–12, 13–18 and 19 and up. Information packets will be available at the library starting Tuesday, Jan. 3. The public will vote for their favorites, and prizes will be given to the top choices in each category at the end of winter reading.
