Williamson Arrested In Winona Lake Stabbing Incident

WINONA LAKE — A Winona Lake man was arrested after allegedly stabbing a man in the neck.
Henry Daniel Williamson, 23, 2609 Wildwood Lane, Winona Lake, is charged with aggravated battery, a level 3 felony; domestic battery resulting in serious bodily injury, a level 5 felony; and domestic battery, a class A misdemeanor.
On Dec. 29, a Winona Lake Police officer responded to a stabbing incident at a residence. The officer made entry into the home and found a man with a serious stab wound to his neck.
According to court documents, the man said he was stabbed in the neck by Williamson. The man was treated at the scene and flown to a Fort Wayne hospital. As of Dec. 30, the man has received multiple units of blood during treatment and is still hospitalized.
Williamson told officers he was arguing with the man about Williamson’s employment status. He admitted to stabbing the man in the neck with a knife during the argument. After realizing what he’d done, Williamson contacted emergency services.
During a search of the home, officers found the knife used in the incident.
Williamson was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Dec. 29, with a $21,000 surety and cash bond.
