Claypool

Officers with Claypool Police Department investigated the following accident:

• 3:23 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, South CR 750W and West Bumble Bee Boulevard, Claypool. Drivers: Ruth D. Truman, 77, South Field Lane, Akron; and Richard W. Jones, 75, South CR 750W, Claypool. Truman was traveling south on CR 750W and crossed the center line, striking Jones’ northbound vehicle. Truman reported dizziness as the cause of the accident and was transported by ambulance with complaints of abdominal pain and a potential medical issue. Damage up to $10,000.
