Shane Evans — UPDATED
Shane Christopher Evans, 51, a lifetime resident of North Webster, died unexpectedly Friday, Dec. 16, 2022.
Shane was born to John C and Patricia A (Bisig) Evans on May 20, 1971. He was a 1989 graduate of Wawasee High School and worked for Parker Hannifin in Goshen.
More personally, Shane was a lover of all things outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He was a generous person with a big heart who loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Shane enjoyed watching NASCAR and Sprint Car. He enjoyed cooking and barbecuing. He also enjoyed driving through the countryside and the Tri County Wildlife Area.
On March 22, 2001, Shane was married to Patricia A. Clarke. Pat survives at home. Additional survivors include three stepchildren, Amiee (Josh) Stufflebeam, North Webster, Travis Coon, Sioux Falls, S.D. and Brandon (Mandy) Hedeen, Sioux Falls, S.D.; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Stacie Koedyker, rural Leesburg; nephew, Blake Wagner, rural Leesburg; and mother, Pat Evans, Pierceton. He was preceded in death by his father, John Evans.
Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services is entrusted with his care. Visitation will be held from 2-6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2022, at Titus Funeral Home-Owen Chapel of North Webster, 8056 East CR 500N. Beginning at 6 p.m., Pastor Mike Beezley will officiate Shane’s Life Celebration Funeral. Final interment will be in Leesburg Cemetery.
