John Jay Holle — UPDATED
John Jay Holle, 60, Hendersonville, N.C., died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022, at the home of his sister and brother-in law, Michael and Debbie Romine, after a courageous 17-year battle with cancer.
John was born March 6, 1962, in Kosciusko County, to the late John “Jack” and Barbara (Freeman) Holle. John lived in Arlington, Texas, for 30 years prior to moving to Hendersonville, N.C., in 2018. He graduated from Warsaw High School. He was a carpenter and quite a MacGyver for any project, no matter how challenging. He enjoyed fishing and his golden retriever, Snap.
John is survived by his sisters, Debbie (Mike) Romine, Hendersonville, N.C. and Tina (Dave) Plowman, Cardington, Ohio; his brother, Brett Holle, Hendersonville, N.C.; and his beloved dog, Snap.
John was preceded in death by his parents, John “Jack” and Barbara Holle.
Jackson Funeral Services & Crematory, Hendersonville, N.C., are overseeing arrangements in North Carolina.
Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, Bourbon, is honored to be providing the local services in celebrating the life of John.
In the spring, John will be laid to rest in Etna Green Cemetery beside his parents.
