SYRACUSE — Two of the three persons involved in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of US 6 and CR 127 were transported to Goshen Hospital with unknown injuries. The incident occurred at approximately 12:20 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17.
The two individuals were the driver and passenger of a white 2010 Chevrolet Avalanche traveling southbound on CR 127. They stopped for the stop sign and then pulled out into the path of a black 2015 Dodge pickup hauling a tow-behind RV and traveling westbound on US 6.
The collision occurred on US 6, pushing the Avalanche off the highway about 50 yards into a cornfield northwest of the intersection.
The Dodge was in operable condition and was driven away after the driver gave a statement to the Indiana State Police, who responded along with the New Paris fire and EMS departments and Syracuse EMS. The Avalanche was subsequently towed from the scene.
