Karissa Lyn Sellers, 49, Warsaw, died Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, with her family by her side. Karissa was born Aug. 29, 1973, in Kendallville, to Gregory and Lois (Divine) Wicker. In 1992, she graduated from Branch County Christian High School. On June 21, 2005, she married her husband of 17 years, Martin Sellers. Karissa was previously employed at QC Keystone, working in quality control.
A kindhearted warrior, Karissa stayed positive throughout her cancer treatments, supporting and uplifting her family’s spirits with her contagious smile, laughter and colorful personality. She enjoyed geode hunting, camping at Jellystone in Pierceton and traveling. She found joy in watching Baby Yoda and Groot and loved the Christmas season. Most of all, Karissa loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, Karissa will be deeply missed by her children, Justin Johnson and Leona Sellers; stepdaughter, Miranda Sellers; mother, Lois Wicker; sister, Angel Wicker; brother, Gregory (Aurora) Wicker; half-brother, Brandon Wicker; her three yorkies, Scrappy, Chigger and Misty; and cat, Yogi. She was preceded in death by her father, Gregory Wicker.
Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw, are entrusted with Karissa’s care. Friends and family may gather from 2-5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022, at the funeral home. A funeral service will immediately follow.
As Karissa was such a vibrant and colorful person, the family requests that everyone attending the funeral to wear something bright and colorful.
