Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:
- 12:17 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, North Roosevelt Street and East Main Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Jacob S. Silveus, 40, East Market Street, Warsaw; and Christopher R. Brown, 37, Warsaw. Silveus didn’t see Brown’s police vehicle. He said he may have been distracted by his two large dogs. Silveus disregarded a stop sign and his vehicle hit Brown’s. Damage up to $10,000.
Fulton County
Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
- 5:53 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, East Olson Road and North Old 31, Rochester. Driver: Jeralyn R. Hines, 60, Rochester. A deer jumped over Hines’ vehicle, leaving hoof prints and scratches on the hood of the vehicle.
- 8:09 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, 7000 block of West CR 650S, Kewanna. Driver: Juvenile. A juvenile struck a deer with their vehicle.
- 2:53 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, West SR 110 and North CR 600W, Rochester. Driver: James Dulin, no age or town listed. Dulin struck a deer with his vehicle.
