Echoes To Cram The Tram For Toys For Tots
News Release
WARSAW — Echoes of the Past wants to cram the tram again for Toys for Tots.
Last year the club began its quest to Cram the Tram with toys to help fulfill the Christmas wishes of children in Kosciusko County. Partnering with the United States Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program, the toy drive was a success.
The program last year was able to make magic for more than 2,500 children. The Toys for Tots program started in 1947 in Los Angeles with a few handmade dolls and has grown into a national community action plan wherever there is a Marine Corps Reserve location.
The Echoes of the Past started collecting toys this week. Anyone wishing to donate toys to help fill the tram may do so by placing an unwrapped new toy in the drop boxes located at Tractor Supply, 3294 E. US 30, Warsaw, or at Splendor Boats, 9526 S. SR 15, Silver Lake.
People may also contact any member of the club to donate a toy. For more information, contact Chris Morehouse at [email protected].
