Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
- 7:31 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, West Levi Lee Road, east of North SR 15, Warsaw. Drivers: Victor Cruz Amador, 39, East Smith Street, Warsaw; and Heather J. Dausman, 42, North Old SR 15 30, Warsaw. Cruz Amador was traveling west on West Levi Lee Road when his vehicle crossed the centerline, hitting Dausman’s vehicle head-on. Dausman complained of elbow and lower arm pain. Damage up to $10,000.
- 7:10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, East CR 400N, east of North CR 850E, North Webster. Driver: Jackson M. Davis, 18, East Goodison Road, North Webster. Davis was traveling east on CR 400N when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $10,000.
- 3:12 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, East CR 1300N, west of North CR 100E, Milford. Driver: Gary L. Klotz, 59, West Hillside Drive, Syracuse. Klotz was traveling west on CR 1300N when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $2,500.
- 7:34 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, South SR 19, north of West CR 900S, Akron. Driver: Robert E. Mace, 60, East CR 100N, Akron. Mace was traveling north on SR 19 when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.
- 7:26 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, East CR 500N, west of North Sullivan Road, Leesburg. Driver: Kyle R. Stamm, 32, EMS T6A Lane, Leesburg. Stamm was traveling east on East CR 500N when a raccoon entered the roadway. Damage up to $2,500.
- 11:32 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, East US 30, west of South CR 900E, Pierceton. Driver: Rebekah A. Priskorn, 22, North Main Street, Auburn. Priskorn was traveling east on East US 30 when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.
- 9:24 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, West Old Road 30, west of West CR 300N, Etna Green. Driver: Monica L. Best, 46, South Main Street, Bourbon. Best was traveling west on Old Road 30 when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $25,000.
- 7:25 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, West CR 400N, east of North CR 450W, Warsaw. Driver: Sara K. Ivin, 26, South Nappanee Street, Nappanee. Ivin was traveling west on West CR 400N when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.
- 7:11 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, North SR 19, north of West CR 950N, Nappanee. Driver: Brian A. Rhinesmith, 54, North SR 19, Nappanee. Rhinesmith was traveling south on North SR 19 and was attempting to turn when his vehicle hit a Nipsco pole and utility box. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
- 10:40 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28, South County Farm Road, south of West CR 550S, Claypool. Driver: Thames T. Goon, 68, North CR 200W, Warsaw. Goon was traveling south on County Farm Road when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $10,000.
- 2:13 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, North SR 15, north of West CR 400N, Warsaw. Drivers: Stacy J. Bice, 51, South 16th Street, Goshen; Jane A. Guiff, 54, East Evergreen Drive, Warsaw; and Donald L. Kraft, 86, Lilac Lane, Warsaw. Bice was traveling north on SR 15 when she hit Guiff’s vehicle. This caused Guiff’s vehicle to enter Kraft’s lane of travel, resulting in another collision. Bice was checked at the scene for a complaint of elbow and lower arm pain. Guiff was also checked at the scene for hip and upper leg pain. Damage up to $50,000.
- 5:45 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, West State Street, near North Walnut Street, Etna Green. Driver: Heidi R. Cooper, 45, West Florence Street, Bourbon. Cooper was traveling east on State Street and stopped at the intersection of Walnut Street when she was hit by an unknown driver, who stopped but then left the scene. Damage up to $2,500.
Milford
Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accidents:
- 11:53 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, North SR 15, south of Turkey Creek Drive, Milford. Drivers: Dustin E. Gordon, 32, South Main Street 9, Etna Green; and Jonathan W. Connolly, 28, Parkwood Drive, Nappanee. Gordon was traveling north on SR 15 when his vehicle crossed the centerline, hitting Connolly’s vehicle head-on. Connolly was flown from the scene by Lutheran Air Ambulance to South Bend Memorial Hospital. Gordon sustained an arm injury and possible hip injury. Damage up to $50,000.
- 12:52 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, North CR 1300N, east of East CR 150N, Milford. Driver: Randale L. Thompson, 43, West Emeline Street, Milford. Thompson was traveling west on CR 1300N when his vehicle left the roadway and hit a tree. He was taken to a local hospital for a complaint of knee, lower leg, and foot pain. Damage up to $25,000.
Pierceton
Officers with the Pierceton Police Department investigated the following accident:
- 1:41 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, South SR 13, near East US 30, Pierceton. Drivers: Timothy Solomon, 51, New Holland Street, Holland, Mich.; and Raul Martinez, 79, East Hanna Street, Columbia City. Solomon was backing his vehicle when he hit Martinez’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accidents:
- 10:07 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28, 1010 N. Indiana Ave., Syracuse. Driver: Steven S. Sharp, 72, East Greenhaus Drive, Syracuse. Sharp was backing his vehicle when he hit a parked, unoccupied vehicle. Damage under $750.
- 7:50 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, South County Line Road, west of North Warner Road, Syracuse. Driver: Dawn K. Waldron, 70, North CR 600W, Ligonier. Waldron was traveling west on South County Line Road when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $2,500.
- 7:07 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, East CR 1000N, west of North Syracuse Webster Road, Syracuse. Driver: Justin A. Gerber, 39, East CR 1000N, Syracuse. Gerber was traveling west on East CR 1000N when a deer ran into the side of his vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
- 4:58 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, West Center Street, west of South Hand Avenue, Warsaw. Driver: Naquan R. Williams, 20, East Center Street 2, Warsaw. Williams appeared to be traveling east on West Center Street when his vehicle hit a south guardrail and deflected across the roadway. Williams denied he was driving and was not at the scene when officers arrived. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
- 2:52 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, 2501 Walton Blvd., Warsaw. Drivers: Barbara A. Lindquist, 75, Westwood Road, Winona Lake; and Todd M. Seitner, 47, North Lake Street, Warsaw. Lindquist was backing from a parking space when she hit Seitner’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
- 2:49 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, 2473 Jalynn St., Warsaw. Drivers: Karissa E. Johnson, 26, Twig Place Unit D., Indianapolis; and Katherine V. Hines, 26, Wexford Place, Warsaw. Johnson was backing her vehicle from a parking space when she hit Hines’ vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
- 12:24 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, US 30, near Anchorage Road, Warsaw. Drivers: David M. Emmons, 34, Anchorage Road 37, Warsaw; and Said A. Lopez, 18, Springhill Road, Warsaw. Emmons was traveling on US 30 and entered the turn lane to go west on Anchorage Road when he rear-ended Lopez’s vehicle. A passenger in Lopez’s vehicle, Luis D. Delgado, 29, Warsaw, complained of neck pain and was checked by medics at the scene. Damage up to $25,000.
- 4:35 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, 1150 Husky Trail, Warsaw. Driver: unknown. A parked vehicle owned by Phyllis R. Beyers, Warsaw, was parked and unoccupied when it sustained damage from an unknown driver. Damage up to $5,000.
- 3:31 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, East Center Street, near Eastlake Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: unknown; and Hayley M. Walker, 23, North Main Street, Bourbon. Walker was in the left lane on East Center Street and was attempting to make a left turn onto Eastlake Drive when an unknown vehicle attempted to merge into her lane, resulting in a collision. The vehicle that hit Walker’s left the scene. No injuries were reported. Damage up to $10,000.
- 7:58 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, 3010 Frontage Road, Warsaw. Driver: unknown. An unknown driver in a white Ford pick-up truck hit a parked moped and left the scene. Damage under $750.
- 4:17 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, Argonne Road, north of East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Driver: Kent A. Barrus, 58, North Shutt Hill Road, Huntington. Barrus was traveling south on Argonne Road when his vehicle went under a railroad bridge. While traveling under the bridge, Barrus’ semi trailer hit the bridge, causing the trailer to buckle in the middle. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage over $100,000.
- 3:56 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, North Detroit Street, near East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Kristal Vega-Sanchez, 20, East Clark Street, Warsaw; and Jeffrey L. Shepherd, 39, East CR 500S, Warsaw. Vega-Sanchez was traveling north on North Detroit Street and was attempting to turn left onto East Fort Wayne Street when she hit Shepherd’s vehicle. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
Fulton County
Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
- 7:36 a.m. Monday, Oct. 31, North US 31 and East CR 450N, Rochester. Driver: Bo C. Fleenor, 36, Michigan City. Two vehicles were pulled over in the northbound lane. No additional information at this time.
- 9:17 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, 9000 block West Olson Road, Rochester. Driver: Thomas Migonis, 80, Rochester. Migonis struck a deer with his vehicle.
- 2 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, 9000 block South SR 25, Rochester. Driver: Daniel C. Reed, 65, Bremen. Reed struck a deer with his vehicle.
- 11:48 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, 2000 block Main Street, Rochester. Driver: Mary L. Clem, 66, Logansport. No additional information at this time.
- 4:48 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, 6000 block West CR 100S, Rochester. Driver: Larry L. Cunningham, 83, Royal Center. Cunningham hit a pig with his vehicle.
- 3:51 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, 1000 block East Lucas Street, Rochester. Drivers: Daniel L. Armstrong, 68, Kokomo; and Lisa K. Young, 62, Kewanna. Armstrong, who was driving a grain truck, struck Young’s vehicle.
