WARSAW – A large-scale meet-and-greet with many Republican officeholders and candidates is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 24, at Stacy’s restaurant in Leesburg.

The public is invited to attend and mingle with candidates and officeholders.

The event begins at 6 p.m. and is being sponsored by State Sens. Ryan Mishler, Stacey Donato and State Reps. Craig Snow and David Abbott.

Kristi Ormsby, Kosciusko County Republican Party vice-chair, who helped organize the event, said upward of 30 officeholders, party leaders and candidates indicated plans to attend.

Ormsby said in a Facebook post that the gathering is a new kind of event for local Republicans and is encouraging everyone to “bring your friends and your questions.”

There will be hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.
