Still Time To Get To Milford for Food Truck Friday

Meet Milford’s “Food Truck Friday” is underway on Main Street and there’s still time to attend. The October edition of the monthly event will continue until 8 p.m. and features more than a dozen food trucks, with offerings ranging from deserts to entire meals.
Tonight’s activities include:
• A free off-road vehicle, Jeep & motorcycle cruise in;
• Free live music with Full Measure by Maple Leaf Farms;
• A free family photo booth by The Gingerich Group;
• Free pumpkin painting by Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services;
• Free live goats with which to pet & take pictures;
• Free cider & cookies by Milford First Brethren Church;
• A free clogging performance by KC Dance Company;
• Live radio broadcast;
• S’mores station with Pack 3828, Syracuse, Indiana;
• Face painting by Zoey’s Fancy Face;
• A laundry soap and baked goods sale with Milford Cub Scout Pack 3747.
Additionally, Milford Kiwanis is holding it annual soup supper fundraiser inside the Milford Community Building. Your freewill donation gains access to more than a dozen homemade soups. For a $20 donation, you can also purchase a handmade ceramic bowl created by a Wawasee High School student.
All proceeds from the soup supper benefit Teachers’ Tool Box, a Kiwanis program at Milford Meeting House that supplies Milford School teachers with often needed school supplies for their classrooms. Winners of the contest will be chosen by your votes!

- Milford Kiwanian Melinda Roose dishes up hot bowls of soup to Zachary Garcia, Lilly Martin and Autumn Ratty. The service club’s annual soup supper fundraiser features a variety of soups inside the Milford Community Building and will be serving until 7 p.m.
- Tonight’s Food Truck Friday features more than a dozen vendors in downtown Milford. The event will continue until 8 p.m.
