Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
- 11:13 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, North East Wawasee Drive, south of East Waveland Cove, Syracuse. Drivers: Ocxiel Sanchez, 26, East Joshua Drive, Warsaw; and Michael A. Konecny, 47, CR 8, Middlebury. Sanchez was traveling south on North East Wawasee Drive when his vehicle went left of center and hit Konecny’s vehicle. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
- 5:07 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17, North CR 300E, north of East CR 900N, Warsaw. Driver: Azucena Moyotl, 16, East CR 200N 185, Warsaw. Moyotl was traveling north on North CR 300E when her vehicle left the roadway and hit a fence owned by Sandra L. Bromley, Middlebury. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
- 4:39 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17, 1790 N. Fox Farm Road, Warsaw. Driver: Tamara L. Rose, 54, West SR 25, Mentone. Rose was backing her vehicle when she hit a parked, unoccupied vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
Mentone
Officers with the Mentone Police Department investigated the following accident:
- 6:12 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, North Tucker Street, near West Main Street, Mentone. Drivers: John R. Lynch, 85, South CR 450W, Claypool; and Lisa L. Hartle, 51, SR 110, Rochester. Lynch was attempting to turn east onto West Main Street when he pulled out in front of Hartle’s vehicle. Hartle was traveling west on West Main Street. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accidents:
- 8:21 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, West Railroad Avenue, west of South Syracuse Webster Road, Syracuse. Driver: Rebecca R. Hendrix, 33, East Nelson Drive, Milford. Hendrix was traveling south on West Main Street when her vehicle left the roadway. Damage up to $2,500.
- 6:23 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, East Medusa Street, south of North Front Street, Syracuse. Drivers: Scott M. Dingess, 36, East CR 900N, North Manchester; and Erica R. Pruitt, 30, Meadow View Drive, Syracuse. Dingess said he pulled around Pruitt’s vehicle and was angled in front of it at a stop sign when Pruitt pulled forward and hit his vehicle. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $25,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
- 9:02 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, East Fort Wayne Street, near SR 15, Warsaw. Drivers: Hector L. Sanchez, 57, West Sycamore Road, Warsaw; and Drew T. Brewton, 35, East Hawthorn Drive, Warsaw. Sanchez was turning right onto East Fort Wayne Street when he hit Brewton’s vehicle head-on. Sanchez was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Damage up to $5,000.
- 8:05 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, North Parker Street, near Husky Trail, Warsaw. Drivers: Peyton A. Krueger, 17, East Muirfield Road, Winona Lake; and Christine L. Douglas, 48, Dogwood Lane, Warsaw. Krueger was traveling south on Husky Trail when he rear-ended Douglas’ vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
- 4:40 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, Access Road, south of Jalynn Street, Warsaw. Drivers: unknown; and Charles E. Cole, 75, East Bond Street, North Webster. Cole was stopped at a stop sign in the Culver’s parking lot and was preparing to turn north onto the access road when he hit a vehicle traveling north. The driver of the other vehicle left the scene. No injuries were reported. Damage up to $25,000.
