Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:

• 8:04 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, East CR 100N, south of North CR 400E, Warsaw. Driver: Joe H. Haywood, 28, East CR 300N, Warsaw. Haywood’s vehicle skidded on wet roads, leaving the roadway and hitting a tree. Damage: Up to $10,000.

Elkhart County

Officers with the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

• 8:08 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, CR 46 and CR 7, Union Township. Driver: Amanda May, 31, Nappanee. May was traveling west on CR 46 when the vehicle struck a cow crossing the roadway. May and two juvenile passengers were transported to Goshen General Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
• 7:19 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, CR 46 and CR 127, New Paris. Driver: Sairah Zeglin, 31, New Paris. Zeglin was traveling east on CR 46 when her dog distracted her and struck a bridge guardrail with her vehicle, Her vehicle flipped several times before coming to a stop in a field. Zeglin and two passengers were transported to Goshen General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Zeglin was cited for a driving while suspended infraction.
