Marylin R. Brannock
Marylin Roberta Brannock, 85, Warsaw, died at 9:55 a.m. Friday, Oct. 7, 2022, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born March 7, 1937, in Murphysboro, Ill., to Nellie M. (Jardine) Jones and Arthur R. Jones. On Oct. 20, 1973, she was married to Dennis D. Brannock; they were blessed with almost 49 years of marriage before Marylin passed away.
Marylin’s favorite time of the year was fall; she loved watching the leaves change color and enjoying the cool evenings. She was definitely known for loving animals, and she had a soft spot in her heart for cats and dogs. Marylin was such a caring person that she would do anything for people in need. She loved her Trinity Lutheran Church family in Crown Point, and most of all she loved her family — her kids, grandkids and dear husband, Dennis. Marylin will be dearly loved and remembered by those who were fortunate to have known her.
She leaves behind her husband, Dennis D. Brannock, Warsaw; son, Robert (Heather) Brannock, Warsaw; two daughters, Melissa Strand, Greencastle and Margaret Foecke, Canyon City, Colo.; and two grandchildren, Raven and Avonlea. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Benjamin Brannock; two sisters; and one brother.
Marylin’s life will be celebrated privately by her family; thoughts and prayers are deeply appreciated. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
Online condolences may be sent through the funeral home’s website at www.redpathfruthfuneralhome.com.
