Blake Nielson

PORTAGE — A Statewide Silver Alert has been declared for a Portage teenager.

The Porter County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the disappearance of Blake Nielson, a 13-year-old white teenager who is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Blake was last seen wearing a green baseball cap, black/tan T-shirt, grey sweatpants, and Nike Jordan shoes.

Blake is missing from Portage, which is 150 miles northwest of Indianapolis, and was last seen at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27. He is believed to be in extreme danger.
