Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
- 10:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, on SR 13 near CR 400N near Pierceton. Driver: Michael Lauber, 45, North Stanley Street, North Webster. Driver swerved to miss deer but ended up hitting a guardrail and the deer. Damages $10,000.
- 8:34 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, on East US 30 and CR 900E, near Pierceton. Driver: Joshua Orr, 49, West Logan Street, Markle. Tire on a westbound vehicle flew off, rolled through the medium and struck an eastbound vehicle. Damages up to $10,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
- 8:32 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, in a parking area on North Roosevelt, Warsaw. Vehicle slipped out of gear while being cleaned, lurched forward and hit a utility pole. Vehicle registered to Wildman Business Group. Damages up to $5,000.
- 1:17 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, in a parking lot in the 400 block of East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Drivers: Natasha Marshall, 28, North Parker Street, Warsaw; Devora Perez Bernard, 26, West CR 250S, Warsaw. Parking lot fender bender. Damages up to $2,500.
- 9:54 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, on East Market Street and South McKinley, Warsaw. Drivers: Devashree Jadhav, 34, Pheasant Ridge Drive, Warsaw; Dorothy Clemmer, Short Ridge Drive, Warsaw. Collision in the intersection. Damages up to $5,000.
- 4:56 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, on West Lake Street near Hepler Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Araceli Rico, 44, East Clark Street, Warsaw; Celinda Gonzales, 47, East Old Road 30, Warsaw. Rico accidentally cut off the other driver, causing a collision. Damages up to $10,000.
