Officers with the Silver Lake Police Department investigated the following incident:

• 1:29 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 2300 block CR 950S, Silver Lake. Matthew D Kneller reported the ignition was punched on a recreational vehicle in an attempt to steal it.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incident:

• 3:07 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, 800 block Rozella Road, Warsaw. Samuel L. Cook reported a fence was cut and a mini truck belonging to Warsaw Community Schools was stolen. Damage and value: $9,000.

Elkhart County

Officers with the Elkhart County Police Department investigated the following incident:

• 2:25 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, 18000 block Third Street, New Paris. Police received an anonymous tip of suspected criminal activity.

Marshall County

Officers with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incident:

• 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, US 31 and 14th Road, Center Township. A deputy conducted a traffic stop resulting in the identification and incarceration of Joshua Campbell, 39, South Bend. Campbell was operating a vehicle without ever obtaining a license with a prior conviction and a serious violent felon in possession of a firearm.
