Inés Silvestre Garrido — UPDATED
Inés Silvestre Garrido, 54, Warsaw, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2022, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Born March 18, 1968, in Teloloapan, Mexico, she was the daughter of Feliciano Garrido Beltran and Cleotilde Sandoval Antunez. Inés worked as a material handler at R.R. Donnelley for 14 years. She was a devoted Catholic and a humble servant to the Lord. She also was a longtime member of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Inés was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with family. Inés was an active, caring and giving women who spent most of her life thinking of others.
As the amazing cook she was, she enjoyed cooking meals for her entire family and friends. Family time was most important to her. Gathering her family together gave Inés pure joy. You could always catch her watching WWE on Monday and Friday nights.
Along with her husband, Manuel Silvestre, those who survive with broken hearts include her children, Susana (Paul) Konkle, Esequiel (Jennifer) Orduno, Juan Orduno, Jose Silvestre (companion Michelle Aca), David Silvestre, Gabriel Silvestre and Paula Ramirez; and grandchildren, Isaiah Orduno, Isabella Konkle, Zoey Konkle and Elijah Silvestre. She is further survived by extended family members and many friends.
Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services is entrusted with the care of Inés. Friends and family may gather from 4-7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, 2022, at the funeral home, 2000 Sheridan St. Warsaw. The Mass will be held at noon Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2022, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 225 Gilliam Drive, Warsaw. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery.
