North Webster Public Library Hosting Program On Scams

NORTH WEBSTER — North Webster Community Public Library has a busy week planned, with programs for all ages.
Adult Programs
North Webster Police Chief Greg Church will be at NWCPL at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, to talk about protecting oneself from a variety of different scams. Anyone is welcome to attend this program.
The cookbook club meeting set for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, has been canceled. A new time and date will be announced beginning in November.
Part one of the September adult craft class begins at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13. Participants will create decorative fairy jars with clay. Part two will take place at 2 p.m. the following Tuesday, Sept. 20, when participants return to paint their projects.
The Glean Team meets at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14. This experienced genealogy team can help answer genealogy questions.
Chair Dance for Fitness begins at 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, followed by Let’s Move Dance Class at 5 p.m.
Spots are still available for needle felting with Rachel Kruger. There is a cost to cover tools and materials. Participants will make scented pumpkins.
Sign-ups are on for NWCPL’s Banned Books Week escape room. Participants will find clues and solve puzzles, while learning about book censorship. Groups are limited to five people per time slot. To reserve a time, contact the library.
Teen Programs
Teens can drop in at Teen Café between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. for coffee, snacks, video games, board games and social time.
Teen Thursday Study Hall begins at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15. Teens can bring homework and study materials. Coffee will be available.
