Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following incident:
- 2:14 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, 3200 block South Country Club Road, Warsaw. Makera P. Newsome reported fraud.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 11:55 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, 700 block Briar Ridge Circle, Warsaw. Yvonne Opuch reported the theft of money. Value: $800.
Elkhart County
Officers with the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following incidents:
- 11:59 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, 68000 block North Main St., New Paris. Eric VanDiepenbos reported vehicle tires stolen.
- 5:24 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22, 68000 block SR 15, New Paris. Laura Runyan reported items stolen from her property.
- 3:36 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22, 200 block North Cottage Ave., Goshen Officials with work released reported Kevin Simons, 56, Syracuse, failed to return to lawful custody on Aug. 19 and is considered absent without leave.
- 11:23 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, 18000 block CR 142, New Paris. Officials with Elkhart County Parks Department reported areas vandalized at Baintertown Dam-River Preserve Par, between Aug. 12 and Aug. 15.
Fulton County
Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following incidents:
- 8:49 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, 300 block South Pine Street, Akron. A caller reported an Amazon scam via telephone involving purchasing gift cards.
- 7:33 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, 500 block SR 17, Kewanna. A homeowner reported someone broke into his house and stole about 50 guns. The house was also torn apart from the people going through things.
- 4:25 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2000 block Heritage Drive, Rochester. A female reported her checking account had been hacked.
- 10:09 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, SR 15 and CR 575E, Rochester. Police were notified by a vehicle driver, his vehicle hit a semitractor/trailer tire in the roadway. Unknown damage.
