New Med Tech Company Launches In Warsaw

WARSAW — GemViz has announced its launch as the first start-up med-tech company in Warsaw, the Orthopedic Capital of the World.
GemViz is focused on providing services and developing solutions in the rapidly growing digital technology, or med tech, segment of medical devices that will deepen surgical insights and improve patient outcomes.
“The medical device industry is experiencing a significant shift from traditional implants and surgical instruments to digital technologies that improve surgical procedures and patient results. This med tech segment promises to make significant advances in the current episode of care. Our goal is to leverage our region’s industry knowledge and combine it with new capabilities to acquire, use and visualize data to improve patient outcomes,” said GemViz CEO Mike Cusick.

There is a continued investment of over $30 billion annually in these technologies and artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, augmented reality and other enabling technologies to provide advanced surgical insights, improved accuracy and efficiency in procedures and ultimately improved patient results.
