WARSAW – Heat and humidity are expected for much of Monday, Aug. 8, before a strong chance of showers arrives this afternoon and continues into the night.
The National Weather Service predicts a high of 86 Monday in Warsaw. The low will fall to 64.
The greatest chance for rain will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The weather service warns there is a potential for torrential downpours with 1 to 2 inches per hour leading to ponding on roads and flooding in low-lying areas.
Dry weather is expected Tuesday and into the weekend.
Highs Tuesday through Friday will be near 80.
