Arthur “Art” Harold McGinness of Warsaw, died at 10:01 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022, at his residence at the age of 79.

He was born on Oct. 21, 1942, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada to Lily (Legge) McGinness and James Harold McGinness. On October 3, 1964, he was married to Nancy Caryl Hansen.

Art enlisted in the U.S. Navy on June 21, 1960, and was honorably discharged on Aug. 27, 1963, as a Construction Electrician’s Mate petty officer 3rd class.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy C. McGinness (Warsaw), two sons, Eric (Luping) McGinness (Granger), David (Dana) McGinness (Upland), daughter:  Barbara Howard (South Bend), nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. 

Burial took place at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw. 

Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
