Roland ‘Felix’ Espinoza — UPDATED
Roland J. “Felix” Espinoza, 70, Warsaw, died Saturday, July 23, 2022, in his home.
Felix was born June 26, 1952, in Nassawadox, Va. the son of (the late) Roberto and Susana (Reyna) Espinoza Sr. He was united in marriage to Dixie Lee (Creakbaum) Espinoza on Nov. 21, 1981, in Warsaw.
He was a graduate of Pierceton High School. Roland worked as a Journeyman Finisher for R.R. Donnelly Printing Company, retiring in 2016 with 43 years of service.
Felix will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 40 years, Dixie Espinoza, Warsaw; children, Dawn (LD) Harmount, Rolla, Mo., Mary (Tony) Nicholas, Warsaw, Cissy (James) Crouse, Onemo, Va. and Brandi Kelly, Warsaw; mother, Susana Espinoza; siblings, Armando (Sarah) Espinoza, Pierceton, Dolores (David) Bumbaugh, Claypool and Steven (Joanna) Espinoza, Fort Wayne. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, Tiffany Simpson, Taylor Ridenhour, Dylan, Austyn, Jullyan and Audriaña Harmount, Zach and Abby Nicholas, Caitlyn, JJ and Andrew Crouse, Autumn, Sebastion, Zane and Winnie Kelly; and 8 great-grandchildren. In addition to his father, Felix was preceded in passing by two brothers, Robert Espinoza and Ruben Espinoza; and one granddaughter, Lilly Kelly.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 105 First St. Pierceton. Funeral services in celebration of his life will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 5, 2022, in the Pierceton Funeral Chapel with Roger Gareiss officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
