Chad Silveus — UPDATED
Chad Christian Silveus, 45, Winona Lake, died Friday, July 22, 2022, at home.
Chad was born Aug. 7, 1976, in Warsaw, the son of (the late) Anthony “Tony” Silveus and Kim (Hatfield) Ring. He was united in marriage to Fayth Mauk on Oct. 23, 1999, in Burket.
He was a graduate of Warsaw High School and continued his education receiving a degree in traditional naturopathy from Trinity College of Natural Health in 2004. He was a resident of Arizona for seven years and loved living there.
The most important thing to Chad was being a good father and husband. He loved his children and wife dearly. He thoroughly enjoyed being a home-school dad for his daughter, Violet. Chad was known to be a man of strong faith. He stood strong and fought hard in his challenge with Fluoroquinolone Toxicity Syndrome and congestive heart failure. He was an active supporter of both causes. He created his own podcast “The Chad Silveus Show.” Chad will be missed by all that were close to him.
Chad will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Fayth Silveus, Winona Lake; children, Nilsson Silveus, New Mexico, and Violet Silveus, Winona Lake; mother, Kim Ring; siblings, Stephanie Kelm, Ithica Gainey and Doug Yarian; and his countless friends and family.
Funeral services in celebration of Chad’s life will begin at 4 p.m. Thursday July 28, 2022, at Community Grace Brethren Church, 909 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw, with Pastor Reg Overstreet officiating. Interment will follow in Palestine Cemetery, Palestine. A visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 2-4 p.m. at the church.
