Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:
- 3:24 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 205 E. Lynwood Drive, Syracuse. Driver: Arlus J. Schaefer, 69, EMS B51A Lane, Warsaw. Schaefer was backing his vehicle from a parking space when he hit a parked, unoccupied vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
- 7:05 a.m. Friday, July 22, 1000 Provident Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Rebecca M. Roach, 43, South CR 1200W, Akron. Roach was traveling north on Provident Drive when she fell asleep, causing her vehicle to leave the roadway. Her vehicle hit a fire hydrant in front of 1000 Provident Drive. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
- 3:18 p.m. Thursday, July 21, North CR 150W, south of Executive Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Alejandro C. Rico, 35, Indian Trail, Warsaw; and Tyler M. Paredes, 25, EMS B37 Lane 88, Warsaw. Paredes said he was stopped in northbound traffic on CR 150W when his vehicle was sideswiped by Rico’s. Rico said he swerved his vehicle because of an object being in the roadway. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
- 12:33 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2501 Walton Blvd., Warsaw. Drivers: Angelica Ornelas Garcia, 40, East North Winds Drive, Warsaw; and Martha J. Utter, 79, North Tucker Street, Mentone. Ornelas Garcia was backing her vehicle from a parking space when her vehicle hit Utter’s vehicle. Utter was also backing her vehicle from a parking space at the time of the accident. No injuries were reported. Damage up to $10,000.
