WARSAW — Members of the Echoes of the Past voted at its last meeting on June 26 to assist two local FFA chapters with expenses the students in their respective chapters incur throughout the year.
Advisors Mike Jones from Tippecanoe Valley High School and Jacob Riley, Warsaw FFA, were on hand to discuss the many events their chapters are involved in during the year and the costs that accompany those events.
Each of the chapters are very involved at the local and state level and some of their judging teams compete at the national level. Both advisors run very successful programs and the Echoes of the Past acknowledged that to run a successful program takes a lot of effort as well as support from the community.
The Echoes of the Past presented each advisor a check for $2000 to help with expenses to keep their chapters running smoothly.
