Daniel Hampton Elected To IPAC Board Of Directors

INDIANAPOLIS — Kosciusko County Prosecutor Daniel Hampton was recently voted in as a member of the Indiana Prosecuting Attorneys Council Board of Directors during its annual summer conference.
Daniel Hampton has been serving Kosciusko County for over 17 years. He has been the prosecuting attorney since 2011.
Scott County Prosecutor Chris Owens was recently voted in as the new chairman of the IPAC board of directors. Owens, the prosecutor in Scott County since 2017, will serve as chair for the 2022-23 cycle.
Joining Owens as officers of the board are Elkhart County prosecutor Vicki Becker who was elected vice-chair and Monroe County prosecutor Erika Oliphant who will serve as the board secretary. The board of directors is composed of 10 elected prosecutors, five Democrats and five Republicans from across the state.
In addition to the three officers and Hampton, the following six prosecutors were also elected to the board.

- Brad Landwerlen, Shelby County
- Jeremy Mull, Clark County
- Anthony Quinn, Dubois County
- Wesley Schemenaur, Jay County
- Steven Sonnega, Morgan County
The IPAC is a non-partisan, independent state judicial branch agency that supports Indiana’s 91 prosecuting attorneys and their chief deputies. It is governed by a 10-member board of directors of elected prosecuting attorneys. The IPAC assists prosecuting attorneys in the preparation of manuals, legal research and training seminars. It serves as a liaison to local, state, and federal agencies, study commissions, and community groups in an effort to support law enforcement and promote the fair administration of justice.
