Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
- 8:07 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 3648 Commerce Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Stephen F. Henwood, 57, EMS B59 Lane, Warsaw. Henwood was traveling west in a parking lot when he hit a cement post head-on. He told officers that he couldn’t see very well because of the sun. No injuries were reported in the accident. The concrete post was not damaged and Henwood’s vehicle did not need towed. Damage up to $10,000.
- 1:20 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 1007 N. Warren St., Warsaw. Driver: Katrina S. Truman, 31, Heron Boulevard, Warsaw. Truman was backing her vehicle from a parking space when she hit a parked, unoccupied vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:
- 10:02 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, East Pierceton Road, west of South CR 400E, Winona Lake. Drivers: Jessica J. Pass, 36, East CR 225S Apartment 25, Winona Lake; and Toby D. Pass, 47, East CR 225S Apartment 25, Winona Lake. Jessica was traveling east on East Pierceton Road when a deer entered the roadway. Toby, who was driving behind Jessica, also hit the deer. Damage up to $5,000.
