More Than 1,500 Participating In Warsaw Library’s Reading Challenge

WARSAW — In total, more than 1,500 people have signed up for Warsaw Community Public Library’s summer reading challenge.
Library Director Ann Zydek announced this during a brief WCPL Board of Trustees meeting on Monday, June 13. She described the number of sign-ups as record-breaking compared to last year’s summer reading challenge.
As of 1 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 847 children and 237 teenagers have signed up. Registration for WCPL’s summer reading challenge, which is also available for adults, is open online.
Zydek also said Jenn Hicks and Tim Keyes were recently reappointed to their seats on WCPL’s Board of Trustees. Both Hicks and Keyes are serving their second terms. Hicks was reappointed by the Kosciusko County Council, while Keyes was reappointed by the Kosciusko County Commissioners.
The board’s next meeting is at 4 p.m. Monday, July 11.
