WARSAW — The Kosciusko County Convention and Visitors Bureau has launched a new Engage Kosciusko digital passport, the Taco Trail Savings Passport.
This free passport includes seven local restaurants which serve tacos and other Mexican cuisine. Each location on the passport is offering a discount to passport holders.
This savings passport is designed to drive visitors and residents to area businesses and is joining the other digital passports created by KCCVB. These passports are divided into savings passports, which offer discounts at local businesses, and challenge passports, which offer passholders the opportunity to earn fun prizes. Other passports include the Trail Blazer Challenge Passport, Public Art Trail Challenge Passport and Sipping Trail Savings Passport. All of these digital passports are free to sign up for and can be accessed via the users’ mobile phone.
The Taco Trail Savings Passport includes Empireo, HopLore Brewing Co. — The Mill, Rapido’s Burritos, Taqueria El Comal, Los Toritos Mexican Grill, Patino’s Mexican Food and Taqueria La Pasadita. Passholders can explore the best Mexican cuisine in the area while enjoying a discount from these businesses. This passport will be active until May 27, 2023.
“This passport offers the perfect summer activity for taco lovers. Both visitors and residents alike can explore the Mexican cuisine offered in the area by following this Taco Trail, while also enjoying discounts at these local businesses.” Laura Rothhaar, the marketing and communications manager at KCCVB, said.
