Much Of Utility Work Along Lake Now Complete
Staff Report
WARSAW — Much of the utility work along Lake Street that recently limited traffic one way (alternating) is now close to completion.
The use of single-lane traffic culminated Thursday, May 26, with numerous NIPSCO crews updating new utility poles along part of Lake Street and other nearby areas.
An employee for Traffic Control Specialists, a contractor working with NIPSCO, said much of the work will now cease until Tuesday, May 31. He said there could be one day in the near future that might necessitate one-way traffic, but the biggest portion of work in that area has been finished.
