Betty Stroup

KOKOMO — A Statewide Silver Alert has been declared for a Kokomo woman.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the disappearance of Betty Stroup, an 80-year-old white woman who is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 118 pounds. She has gray hair and blue eyes. Betty was last seen wearing burgundy pajamas with hearts on them.

Betty is missing from Kokomo, which is 61 miles north of Indianapolis, and was last seen at 4:59 a.m. Thursday, May 26. She is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
